Two Navy civilians working in Bahrain passed away in unrelated events last week, the Defense Department announced Monday.

Causes of death have not been confirmed by autopsy as of Tuesday, 5th Fleet spokesman Cmdr. Kevin Stephens told Navy Times on Tuesday. Neither of the deaths is believed to have been the result of foul play. .Marcus Prince and Michael Baptiste died of non-combat causes in Juffir, a suburb of Manama, on April 26 and April 28, according to a release.

Prince, a 22-year-old Norfolk, Virginia, resident was a merchant marine assigned to the underway replenishment oiler Pecos.

Baptiste, 60, from Brooklyn, New York, was assigned to Forward Deployed Regional Maintenance Center Detachment Bahrain.
