A sailor from the carrier Eisenhower was arrested Saturday after a shootout in Norfolk left one person dead, WTKR reports.

Aviation Boatswain’s Mate 3rd Class Donald Bowman, 26, has been charged with second degree murder, malicious wounding and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony in connection with an alleged altercation with two other individuals, according to the local news report.

Three men involved in the incident suffered gunshot wounds, and one — James N. Henderson Jr., 20 — was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the report.

Bowman was treated for a non-life threatening gunshot wound and subsequently taken into custody.

A native of Ohio, Bowman enlisted in the Navy in 2010.

After assignments to Navy Mobile Construction Battalion 3 and Naval Construction Group 1 — during which time he completed a tour to Afghanistan — Bowman reported to the Dwight D. Eisenhower, where he has been stationed since.

Police have yet to announce a motive, the report says.

He is currently being held at the Norfolk City Jail without bond.
