NORFOLK, Va. — The Canadian frigate Ville de Quebec entered Hampton Roads this morning for a port visit.
According to the maritime tracking app, Marine Traffic, the ship departed her homeport of Halifax, Nova Scotia, on May 11.
“Ville de Quebec is in Norfolk through the 25th conducting a routine port visit,” said Lt. Cmdr. Brian Wierzbicki, spokesman for Fleet Forces Command in Norfolk.
The ship is no stranger to Norfolk Naval Station, having visited the base multiple times over the years, including a 2013 visit to participate with several multinational ships in exercises with the Harry S. Truman carrier strike group during a composite unit training exercise.
