Memorial Day weekend will be a bit more special for thousands of sailors across the Navy this spring as they celebrate knowing they’ve received a new petty officer crow.
Nearly 22,000 active, reserve and full-time support sailors received word today that they were selected to advance into the E-4 through E-6 paygrades.
Check out the comprehensive list of active-duty, reserve and full-time support selectees here!
After three straight cycles of increased percentages of sailors moving up, opportunity slipped this cycle.
In all, 88,124 sailors passed this spring’s advancement exams, making them eligible to compete for the 25,050 available advancement quotas for those paygrades. That amounts to a nearly-24 percent chance at moving up, which is down from last fall’s 27 percent and the 26 percent opportunity a year ago.
Congratulations to all selectees!
