The multiyear effort by the Navy to outfit every fleet sailor with fire-retardant at-sea uniforms took one gigantic leap forward Friday as the service unveiled three variations of duds designed to be more practical for at-sea and operational sailors.

Roughly 250 sailors will be testing variations of the two-piece uniforms until September, when the Navy will conclude, after gathering all feedback from participants, which variations are most promising.

What do you think of the uniforms being tested? Do you like the khakis for E-7 and above sailors? Would you rather have the vintage dungaree look for sailors E-6 and below or the blue on blue?
